Oftentimes, when I begin a new piece of art, the final version is nothing like I had originally envisioned when I first set out. Rather, I let the glass guide me and the final image is born by pushing the boundaries of both my kiln and the glass as well as my own creativity. I am merely an instrument, fusing layers of glass, enamel and vitreous paint, not stopping until a moment or feeling has been captured.
